Hi I am Suzana, the designer and owner of Yala Avenue. I am originally from Nepal and currently reside in Huntsville, AL. In Huntsville, we are locally known for our unique design collection and Handmade Nepali Lokta wrapping paper & paper products. “Yala” is the indigenous name for the historic fine art and craft based city of Patan in Nepal. Yala Avenue is a design house paying homage to this history by curating and showcasing premium products proudly handcrafted in Nepal. Our products are designed in Huntsville, AL and are beautifully handcrafted by the skilled artisans in the city of Yala in Nepal. Along with the jewelry, I also design and create one of a kind, block printed Lokta paper greeting cards, bookmarks and Journals which are finished in my studio. We continue to create and introduce unique design and products inspired by culture, our customers and experiences.
