When I was a Calvin College student in the 1990’s I fell in love with making pottery. I took a long break as I married and had 4 children. In 2013 I started working on my pottery again and sell it at various art fairs in Michigan. I primarily use the potters wheel but also do some hand building. I enjoy making classic shapes to create my functional pottery of mugs, bowls, vases, etc. All items are glazed with food safe glazes and fired in my electric kiln. Some pieces are glazed in various g
