I exclusively hand build functional and decorative stoneware pieces using Kentucky Mudworks clay and various combinations of commercial glazes. I use a combination of slab, coil and pinch methods to form my work and fire it to cone 5.5 oxidation. I studied ceramics at IUS in the 90’s and in 2020 I used my stimulus check to purchase a kiln and began Seelye Pottery.
