Peanuts & Pinecones

Lexington, KY

I have always had an active imagination, and growing up, loved to sit and watch animals and nature. I would come up with little stories in my head of the lives the animals lead. As I grew as an artist, I started drawing little scenes with watercolor and giving pieces to friends

About

My name is Stephanie, and I am the artist behind Peanuts & Pinecones. As an introverted and shy child, I found solace in the natural world and discovered art as an effective means of communication. Whether it was processing challenging emotions or expressing thoughts that I was too reserved to convey, art became a lifeline for me. As a self-taught artist, my style has consistently been characterized by its softness, simplicity, and whimsy. My work often features animals in humorous and heartfelt situations, often depicting them behaving in human-like ways.
