At Bonhomia, we celebrate meaningful partnerships with small, independent workshops within rural Guatemala and women’s art cooperatives within Mayan communities. Our goal is to support local workshops that are run by independent artists and local business owners because we believe that this is where the most direct impact is made. All of our artisans receive fair wages and flexible working conditions, working from home when possible. Small business has the power to create incredible change within communities and we aim to support and empower positive growth and cultural preservation. When artisans know that their skills are appreciated and valued, they will continue to pass their knowledge to future generations. This is very important to us. Together we can make a difference, even in a small way, to create a lasting social impact and enable artisans to work in a sustainable way for their income. And that is something we can all feel good about.
